FES COURSES |
We run training courses and workshops on the application of FES
in neuro-rehabilitation. Before clinicians can prescribe the ODFS or
O2CHS for their patients, they must attend a course; this is mandatory.
Three courses plus one workshop are offered: This one-day workshop provides an opportunity to learn about the basics of FES and to receive demonstration of where it has been used clinically. For further information please click here. /3/ Accreditation course for the Odstock 2-Channel Stimulator /4/ Clinical application of FES for the upper limb Course groups will be limited to 12 - 16 participants. ** Please note that some medical conditions contraindicate the use of FES: poorly controlled epilepsy, cardiac pacemaker users, pregnancy. Please contact us for more information if required or speak to one of the course tutors on the day. Other courses are available from time to time, for example, FES in paediatrics or different combinations of the above. Please contact us for details. Please contact Sophie Pearce for
all bookings and course enquiries. |
